Job Summary

As a Senior Product Analyst at Inkitt, you'll build and maintain reporting dashboards, conduct deep dives into feature performance and user behavior, and lead A/B testing. You'll partner with product, engineering, research, and design teams to translate insights into product development. This role requires a strong understanding of statistics, time series analysis, and forecasting, along with experience with BI tools like Redash and SQL for large datasets. You'll also support the business with ad-hoc analyses and provide strategic direction on experimentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of data analysis experience in an online product business and is passionate about product and user success. Inkitt is building the Disney of the 21st Century.

What You’ll Do:

    • Build and maintain systematic reporting and dashboards to foster self-service data culture
    • Conduct deep dives to understand feature / component performance and user behavior, evaluate AB tests, and extract actionable insights
    • Partner widely with product, engineering, research, and design to translate your insights to guide product development
    • You will be positioned to have a view of the business, product, and member base and encouraged to understand and explain trends
    • Lead experimentation by providing mentorship on how they should be run, defining success metrics and data requirements, evaluating impact, and providing strategic direction
    • Support the business with ad-hoc analyses; internal and external business decisions
    • Be product and user obsessed

What You'll Bring:

    • Bachelors degree Mathematics, Statistics, CS or in related field
    • 5+ years data analysis experience in an online product business
    • SQL experience with large data sets (we use ClickHouse)
    • Understanding of statistics, time series analysis, and forecasting techniques
    • Experience with BI / reporting tools such as Looker, Redash, Mode, or Tableau (we currently use Redash)
    • Experience with ETL-related tools such as DBT or Airflow
    • Applied experience with A/B testing
    • Start up experience is a plus
    • Python experience with data-related libraries such as numpy, pandas, etc. is a plus
