Job Summary

As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you will be the core analytical partner for the Product teams, driving the data-informed evolution of mobile games and internal tools. Your primary mission is to ensure the Product team has access to efficient and trustworthy data insights, enabling optimal decisions on features, monetization, and user experience. You will translate complex product and user behavior data into clear, actionable strategies.

Must Have

  • Conduct deep-dive data analysis to understand user behavior, feature adoption, monetization drivers, and overall game performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and trustworthy dashboards (primarily in Looker) to monitor key Product KPIs.
  • Partner with the Product team to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for product analysis.
  • Proven, senior-level experience as a Data Analyst, specifically supporting a Product team.
  • Deep data analysis skills with the ability to structure, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Strong familiarity with mobile gaming industry concepts and metrics (e.g., DAU, MAU, ARPDAU, LTV, Retention Curves, Funnels).
  • Expert proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouses).
  • Proficiency with DBT for data transformation, modeling, and maintaining data quality.
  • Expert in data visualization and dashboarding using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • English native or fluent—excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Act as an enthusiast for Generative AI, exploring how emerging AI technologies can be leveraged to enhance product analysis workflows or contribute to future product features.

Role Overview 👀

As Senior Product Data Analyst, you will be the core analytical partner for our Product teams, driving the data-informed evolution of our mobile games and internal tools. Your primary mission will be to ensure the Product team has access to efficient and trustworthy data insights, enabling them to make optimal decisions on features, monetization, and user experience. You will be instrumental in translating complex product and user behavior data into clear, actionable strategies.

Your missions:

  • Product Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive data analysis to understand user behavior, feature adoption, monetization drivers, and overall game performance (e.g., retention, engagement, conversion).
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain efficient and trustworthy dashboards (primarily in Looker) to monitor key Product KPIs, providing the Product team with self-service, real-time insights.
  • Experimentation Support: Partner with the Product team to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments, ensuring statistical rigor and clear interpretation of results.
  • Consultation & Strategy: Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to inform the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Data Infrastructure Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineering to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for product analysis.
  • Gen AI Exploration: Act as an enthusiast for Generative AI, exploring how emerging AI technologies can be leveraged to enhance product analysis workflows or contribute to future product features.

Profile:

  • Experience: Proven, senior-level experience as a Data Analyst, specifically supporting a Product team.
  • Data Analysis: Deep data analysis skills with the ability to structure, analyze, and interpret complex data to provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Industry Concepts: Strong familiarity with mobile gaming industry concepts and metrics (e.g., DAU, MAU, ARPDAU, LTV, Retention Curves, Funnels).
  • SQL Mastery: Expert proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
  • Data Warehouse: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouses).
  • Transformation: Proficiency with DBT (data build tool) for data transformation, modeling, and maintaining data quality.
  • Visualization: Expert in data visualization and dashboarding using tools such as Looker (preferred), Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Communication: English native or fluent—excellent written and oral communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
