Job Description
Cognite is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its core Cognite Data Fusion team, focusing on foundational technologies for the Industrial Knowledge Graph and the Industrial data and AI revolution. The role involves driving product strategy, setting priorities, and collaborating with Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver the next generation of the Industrial Data Platform. You will gather customer feedback, understand user limitations, and shape the product roadmap to maximize customer value. Responsibilities include working on end-to-end product architecture, collaborating with stakeholders and executives for effective product launches, and partnering with customer teams to enable them on products and solutions. Must have:
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs for a product area
- Experience in building or understanding foundational APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field
Good to have:
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product development
- Experience in Product management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives
- Excellent communication skills

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Product Manager to join one of the core teams in Cognite Data Fusion. You'll work with foundational technologies in the Industry Knowledge Graph fueling the Industrial data and AI revolution. In this role you will:
- Drive product strategy and set product priorities, teaming closely with Design, Engineering, Technical Program Management and cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next generation of Industrial Data Platform
- Gain feedback from customers to ensure the right focus in building our products
- Understand where internal and external experts are running into limits, know how our products can best meet their needs, and shape our product roadmap by building new offerings to drive value for our customers
- Work on end to end product architecture
- Work with stakeholders and executives across Cognite to ensure effective product launches
- Partner with our customer teams to enable them on our products and solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs for a product area
- Experience in building or having a deep understanding of foundational APIs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product development
- Experience in Product management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives, working through technical, operational, legal/policy, and business issues
