Upstox is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Growth to drive user acquisition and engagement initiatives, both product-led and non-product-led. This role involves owning the growth roadmap from conception to launch, defining and improving acquisition funnels, and experimenting to achieve conversion wins. The ideal candidate will collaborate with design, tech, marketing, and business teams to ensure smooth execution. Responsibilities include owning product specs, user testing, launch, and iteration, as well as using data to identify and solve user friction. The role focuses on optimizing product touchpoints and scaling successful strategies across various channels.
Must have:
- 7+ years in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
- Strong B2C background
- Experience with API-driven workflows
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management
- Strategic yet execution-first mindset
- Engineering or Management degree
Good to have:
- Prior fintech experience
- Growth-hacker mindset
- Care deeply about product taste and user experience
- Data-informed and runs sharp experiments
- Knows the metrics that matter
- Asks 'why' behind user drop-offs
- Knows SQL and self-serves analytics

The Role: Senior Product Manager – Growth
This is not your typical product role. As Senior Product Manager – Growth, you’ll be at the center of our mission to democratize capital markets for all Indians. You'll own product-led and non-product-led initiatives that directly impact user acquisition and engagement. This role blends data, design, tech, and strategy — ideal for someone who wants to create scalable impact in a high-growth fintech.
What You’ll Own
Own the Growth Roadmap – Lead the product roadmap for growth initiatives from conception to launch, balancing user needs and business goals.
Drive Key Metrics – Define and improve acquisition funnels, track product-market fit levers, and experiment your way to conversion wins.
Build Cross-Functional Bridges – Work closely with design, tech, marketing, and business teams to align initiatives and ensure flawless execution.
Own Execution End-to-End – From product specs to user testing to launch and iteration — you’ll ensure every detail lands with quality and speed.
Uncover Insights – Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify user motivations and frictions — and solve them smartly.
Optimize at Scale – Continuously improve product touchpoints and scale what works across channels, segments, and platforms.
Who You Are
7+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
Strong B2C background with a sharp sense of user behavior and funnel thinking
Experience working with API-driven workflows and complex business systems
Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional skills
Strategic yet execution-first mindset — you roll up your sleeves
Engineering or Management degree from a premier institute
Prior fintech experience or growth-hacker mindset is a plus
