As a Senior Product Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and troubleshooting of sophisticated software programs. This role demands strong expertise in N-tiered systems using .NET/SQL with C#, object-oriented programming, and Domain Driven Design. You will contribute to cloud-based development on Azure and AWS, applying TDD and modern web development standards to deliver high-quality commercial products that make a significant impact on millions of lives globally.
Must have:
  • Minimum 6-10 years developing N-tiered systems in a .NET/SQL environment with C#.
  • STRONG knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns, and profound knowledge of Domain Driven Design.
  • Good understanding of .NET core.
  • Experience developing ASP.NET applications with Angular-20 (or similar client-side JavaScript libraries).
  • Proficiency with web development standards and best practices including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and a strong understanding of OOD/OOP practices.
  • Hands on Experience in cloud-based development Azure, AWS and serverless architectures.
  • Experience in TDD and writing mock unit tests and integration tests.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written - and ability to work collaboratively as a team.
  • Understanding of 12Factor apps.
  • Passionate about software development.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of data modelling no-SQL solutions.
  • Experience developing software for a commercial product.
  • Experience developing cloud based web software.

About the Role:

As a Senior Product Software Engineer, You will play a key role in designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-10 years developing N-tiered systems in a .NET/SQL environment with C#.
  • STRONG knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns, and profound knowledge of Domain Driven Design
  • Good understanding of .NET core - Experience developing ASP.NET applications with the use of 1 of these client-side JavaScript libraries Angular-20
  • Proficiency with web development standards and best practices including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET
  • Knowledge of design patterns and a strong understanding of OOD/OOP practices
  • Hands on Experience in cloud-based development Azure, AWS and serverless architectures
  • Experience in TDD and writing mock unit tests and integration tests
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written - and ability to work collaboratively as a team
