As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Belka Games, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality and accelerating the development of our games, particularly the Clockmaker project. Your core responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated tests for Unity games using the existing test framework (Python/AirTest/Poco), as well as creating and supporting diverse automation processes such as data validation and data import tools. You will actively collaborate with game teams to understand and analyze their requirements, independently troubleshoot issues, and collaboratively devise solutions. The role demands the ability to determine the most effective automation approaches, considering the specifics of our games and requirements. With over 110 million players, Belka Games is a top European game developer. As part of this team you will also be able to work either remotely or in offices located in Georgia or Montenegro.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in automated testing or programming.
  • Knowledge of Unity (game engine), C#, and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD (TeamCity).
  • Experience with AppScripts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Appium, Airtest, Poco (Airtest Project).
  • Mobile development experience (iOS, Android).
  • Game development experience.

We are Belka Games. Our company is one of the 20 highest-grossing game developers in Europe according to data.ai, and our audience recently surpassed an important milestone of 110 million players.

We're looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help boost the quality and development speed of our games, with a particular emphasis on our Clockmaker project.

Our ideal candidate is professional, independent, and strives for excellence! A background in game development / large projects would be a huge plus.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and supporting automated tests for Unity games based on an existing test framework (Python/AirTest/Poco)
  • Developing and supporting a variety of automation processes, such as data validation and data import tools
  • Interacting with the game teams to receive and analyze their requirements/problems
  • Independently analyzing problems, jointly working out solutions with teams
  • Developing the optimal approaches to automation, taking into account the specifics of our games and requirements

What we need from you: 

  • Experience in automated testing - 3 years or more, or experience as a programmer
  • Knowledge of Unity (game engine), C#, Python
  • Experience with CI/CD (TeamCity)
  • Experience with AppScripts
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems, with attention to the smallest details
  • Systematic and autonomous in work

Would be nice:

  • Experience with Appium, Airtest, Poco (Airtest Project)
  • Mobile development experience (iOS, Android)
  • Game development experience
