Job Description

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Evolution, you'll be involved in the analysis, design, and creation of tests, resolving system problems in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate closely with developers, covering unit tests (JavaScript, Python), defining integration and API tests, and developing UI tests. Responsibilities include performing various testing methods (manual/automated, functional/non-functional, black-box/white-box), contributing to continuous deployment and pipeline building, and introducing exploratory testing and mob-testing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in test automation, expertise in JavaScript/Typescript, and client-server integration testing and e2e test automation. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and debugging skills are essential, along with good English proficiency.

Must have:

5+ years in test automation
JavaScript/Typescript knowledge
Client-server integration testing
E2E test automation experience
Strong communication & collaboration

Good to have:

WebdriverIO experience
Playwright experience
Mobile automation experience

Job Description

As a valued member of the development team, you will be involved in carrying out analysis, design, and creation of tests and resolving system problems in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to:

Work with developers back to back, know what they cover in unit tests (in JavaScript, and Python), help them define integration and API tests, and develop UI tests together;
Perform all means of testing (manual/automated, functional/non-functional, black-box/white-box);
Take an active part in the transition to continuous deployment and building pipelines and proper test pyramid;
Introduce exploratory testing sessions, mob-testing, and other means that will lead to the team testing their product together.

To succeed in this role you should have:

5+ years of total experience in test automation;
Knowledge of automation testing with JavaScript/Typescript;
Experience with client-server integration testing and e2e test automation;
Passion for testing and aspiration to deliver the high-quality product;
Mobile automation experience is a plus;
Great communication and collaboration skills;
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills;
Good level of English (written and spoken);
Ability to work and achieve results without daily supervision and collaborating with other engineers.
