Job Summary

Qube Cinema is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - QA to join their Product Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and backend systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. The engineer will collaborate with product teams, identify defects, and continuously improve testing frameworks. Qube Cinema focuses on innovative digital cinema products, offering a flexible, development-focused, and diverse work environment.

Must Have

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications through robust test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to closure.
  • Continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and tools to increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
  • Provide clear reporting of test results and quality metrics.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot, or similar).
  • Good understanding of backend/API testing (Postman, REST-assured, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
  • Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
