Qube Cinema is seeking an Engineer – Technical Support (QTS) to manage and maintain Qube Cinema Equipment in theatres. The role involves content loading, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance for digital cinema servers and projectors. Responsibilities include on-site support, configuration, and maintenance, requiring 24/7 availability due to movie release schedules and show timings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be a good communicator, and be detail-oriented.
Must Have
- Responsible for Qube Cinema Equipment placed in the theatres
- Content loading, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for digital cinema servers and digital projectors
- Delivering and uploading content to theatres as per movie release schedules
- Provide on-site technical support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware & software
- Availability during weekends, festival times, and national holidays is critical
- Role demands 24/7, 365 availability for impromptu troubleshooting
- Respond to client inquiries, issues, and service requests quickly and professionally
- Strong knowledge on hardware and networking

Job Description
The ideal applicant for this position should have strong technical skills, be good communicator, and pay close attention to detail. The field engineer should diagnose and address problems, also maintain customer relationships.
Field Engineer Responsibilities:
- Candidates will be responsible for the Qube Cinema Equipment placed in the theatres
- Your responsibilities as a QTS Filed Engineer will involve content loading, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance for both digital cinema servers and digital projectors. Delivering and uploading content to theatres as per movie release schedules
- Provide on-site technical support to customers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware & software.
- As movies are released on weekends and festival times, National holidays, your availability during that time is extremely critical.
- Most of theatres run 4 shows a day, most of the planned maintenance and other work at the theatre site would happen pre-shows, post-shows, or in between shows. Role demands 24/7, 365 availability as troubleshooting requirements are impromptu.
- Respond to client inquiries, issues, and service requests quickly and professionally, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
Skills required:
- Candidate should have strong knowledge on hardware and networking
- Diploma or Certification in hardware and networking course will be an added advantage.
