Job Summary
Qube Cinema is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the company's finances, providing leadership in financial reporting, treasury management, accounting, and compliance. This role involves working closely with senior leadership, ensuring timely book closures, preparing financial statements, managing accounting operations, and handling treasury functions. The ideal candidate will streamline accounting, liaise with auditors, ensure statutory and tax compliances, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Must Have
- Oversee company finances, financial reporting, treasury, accounting, and compliance
- Work closely with senior leadership
- Ensure timely book closures and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements including consolidation
- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, Accountable/Receivables, GL entry, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Handle Treasury operations
- Streamline accounting functions with sound knowledge of IndAS/IFRS
- Liaise with external auditors for timely preparation and smooth closure of financials
- Complete statutory and internal audits smoothly
- Ensure statutory and tax compliances
- Provide recommendations for improving internal financial controls, efficiencies, and resource utilization
- Coordinate with business heads to support Budgeting and forecasting
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting
- Knowledge of IndAS, Taxation, financial systems, processes, and controls
- Knowledge in MS Office

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's finances, providing leadership and coordination in financial reporting, treasury management, accounting and compliance.
- Be a key part of the senior team, working closely with the senior leadership.
- Ensuring timely book closures and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including consolidation.
- Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, Accountable / Receivables, GL entry, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Handling Treasury operations of the company.
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations with sound knowledge on IndAS/IFRS.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely preparation and smooth closure of financials. Smoothly complete statutory and internal audits.
- Ensuring statutory and tax compliances.
- Providing suitable recommendations for improving internal financial controls, efficiencies, and utilization of financial resources.
- Coordinating with other business heads to support Budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant.
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
- Knowledge of IndAS, Taxation, financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Entrepreneurial and likes to take ownership.
- Excellent analytical skills, motivated, hardworking, and self-driven leader.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential.
- Knowledge in MS Office.
