Job Description
Join Apple to design, build, and optimize the systems that power its global edge network. Collaborate with experts in network engineering, distributed systems, and protocol development to create cutting-edge solutions impacting billions of users. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing next-generation networking protocols like HTTP/3, QUIC, and DoH, architecting and building the next-generation edge network with other engineering teams, and optimizing the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of Apple's edge infrastructure to handle global traffic demands. You will also conduct design and code reviews, mentor peers, and continuously analyze system performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Must have:
- Design and implement next-generation networking protocols (HTTP/3, QUIC, DoH)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to architect edge network
- Optimize edge infrastructure efficiency and reliability
