Senior Software Engineer—Location Intelligence

Our mission is to personalize the user experience on Apple devices based on where you go, when, and what those places mean to you. We’re building intelligent devices that understand where their users are, and what they want to accomplish there. You’re experiencing our work whenever you see a suggested location in Maps, interact with outings or trips in Journaling Suggestions, or browse your Memories in Photos. We’re looking for motivated, experienced engineers to help take our software to the next level of capability, quality, and impact. Do you have experience associating users and devices with points of interest on a map? Do you have a background in GPS/GNSS, WiFi location, or embedded sensing, and are looking to move up the stack? Are you excited by the optimization problem of providing rich contextual intelligence within a compact resource footprint?
