Impact in This Role

At Fictiv, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the $13 trillion manufacturing industry. Since our founding in 2013, we’ve built a cloud-based, AI-powered platform that accelerates product development from prototype to production. Our Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem combines intelligent workflow and collaboration software with a global network of highly vetted manufacturers, helping innovators in electric vehicles, medical robotics, and consumer electronics bring the next generation of products to life.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building highly available, scalable systems that support our fast-growing global business. This is your opportunity to create real impact by solving complex technical challenges while helping transform an industry that’s long overdue for innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build high-performing systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred) using event-driven, asynchronous programming frameworks like Node.js.
  • Deliver quality code: design, implement, test, and document maintainable, defect-free software.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work with product, design, and engineering peers to design and deliver technical solutions.
  • Lead by example: contribute to design reviews, mentor other engineers, and model best practices in coding and communication.
  • Problem-solve in production: debug issues, resolve blockers, and support system stability.
  • Continuously improve: explore new patterns, tools, and techniques while sharing knowledge with your peers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, React, and AWS services (SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS).
  • Strong background in backend APIs and integrations (REST or GraphQL).
  • Solid experience with SQL & NoSQL databases and event-driven systems (queues, iPaaS, event buses).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, caching, and application security (OWASP Top 10).
  • AWS Certification is a plus.
  • A passion for writing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.

Why You’ll Love Working at Fictiv

  • Be part of a company that’s transforming how physical products are made—from Silicon Valley startups to global enterprises.
  • Collaborate with a talented, supportive, and mission-driven engineering team.
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and expand your technical expertise in a high-impact role.
  • Flexible remote work environment with minimal travel (0–10%).

If you’re excited about solving hard problems, working with cutting-edge technology, and making a tangible impact on the future of manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.
