Job Description

As a Software Architect and Tech Lead, you will lead an agile development team, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering robust, fault-tolerant software solutions. This involves ensuring compliance with quality system procedures, managing software development, integrating applications, resolving escalated issues, and authoring technical documentation. You will also guide and coach the team, ensure predictability in releases, and mitigate risks throughout the development lifecycle.
Must have:
  • Lead and provide technical expertise to an agile development team.
  • Design, develop, and deliver robust, fault-tolerant software solutions.
  • Adhere to Quality System Procedures (version control, configuration management, SDLC).
  • Operate in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulations, and laws (e.g., FDA).
  • Follow organizational practices in version control, software development, and configuration management.
  • Integrate applications with other corporate systems and third-party software.
  • Investigate and resolve issues escalated by the application support team.
  • Assist in authoring and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Keep abreast of technical developments and propagate knowledge.
  • Act as a role model and guide/coach the project team in technology.
  • Understand the big picture and work closely with Scrum master, Product owner, Architects, and scrum team.
  • Bring predictability for releases and escalate issues.
  • Lead and drive the team to keep up the Say-Do ratio and meet Sprint commitments.
  • Help and guide the team for better estimation, ensuring DOR and meeting DOD.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during the development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Min. 12 years of experience with 3+ years as an Architect & Tech Lead.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Design and Development.
  • Solid experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of design patterns and practical applications.
  • Hands-on and strong knowledge of C# .Net.
  • Hands-on experience in Angular UI framework.
  • Hands-on experience on working with AMQPS and RabbitMQ, Consul, SqlServer and websockets.
  • Strong experience in Microservices architecture & cloud related tech stack (preferably AWS).
  • Working experience in Agile/SAFe development methodologies.
  • Adept at using AI Assistance tools: GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Windsurf during coding tasks, AI Agents, Implementation of RAG and MCP.
  • Improve productivity / reduce release cycle time through effective use of AI.
  • Adept in using AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, OpenAI Codex).
  • Using AI tools for code generation, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Understanding prompts and model behavior for high-accuracy suggestions.
  • Applying AI in debugging, test case creation, and code reviews.
  • Familiarity with productivity enhancements and limitations of AI tooling.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with DICOM toolkits like fo-dicom or DCMTK and FHIR libraries such as Firely SDK or HL7 .NET SDK.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, HIPAA).
  • Experience in other Healthcare domains like Serviceability.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-based imaging tools or diagnostics systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Description

Your role:

  • As a Software Architect and Tech Lead, you will be responsible to lead and provide technical expertise to an agile development team - designing, developing, and leading team to deliver robust, fault tolerant software solutions that deliver business value while adhering to Quality System Procedures governing software version control, configuration management and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a focus on ease of maintenance and extensibility.
  • Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to FDA requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources.
  • Following organizational practices in version control, software development and configuration management, including key performance indicators for the management of software development.
  • Integrating applications with other corporate systems and with third party software.
  • Investigating and resolving issues escalated by application support team in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the business stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the authoring and reviewing of technical documentation regarding the design, configuration, creation, installation, and maintenance of application components.
  • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts and propagates it.
  • Acts as a role model for other technical members in the group.
  • Guides and coaches, the project team in technology as and when applicable. Fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Should be hands on and have strong knowledge of C# .Net.

  • Experience with Test Driven Design, a plus.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of team goals and deliver with quality and within required timeline.
  • Ability to innovate and foster innovation.
  • Adept at using one of these AI Assistance tools: GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Windsurf during coding tasks, AI Agents, Implementation of RAG and MCP.
