Job Summary
The ION Corporates Sales and Account Management team is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to present potential solutions to C-level executives in treasury and risk management. This pre-sales role focuses on selling the ION Treasury value proposition through a solution selling model, driving revenue by articulating the superiority of ION's solutions. The consultant will leverage subject matter expertise in treasury and risk management, contributing to a broad geographic area. The role involves business travel and engagement with diverse corporations, financial institutions, and central banks. Key responsibilities include assisting product management and sales in opportunity qualification, conducting product demonstrations, completing RFI and RFP responses, maintaining demonstration facilities, aiding sales and business development, advising on product direction, and driving sales improvement projects.
Must Have
- 8+ years of experience in treasury operations, financial planning & analysis, treasury technology, or treasury consulting.
- Prior experience in pre-sales, sales, implementation, or product management with financial software.
- Strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Good attention to detail, organized, and proactive.
- Positive and optimistic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Poise when speaking with clients.
- Client relationship management skills.

Job Description

- Assist Product Management and Sales in opportunity qualification.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Treasury management acquired through minimum experience of 8 years in treasury operations, financial planning & analysis, treasury technology, or treasury consulting.
- Prior experience in pre-sales, sales, implementation or product management, specifically with financial software.
- Understanding of advanced technology concepts preferred.
- Relevant degree qualification in mathematics, science, engineering, or quantitative economics/finance.
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving.
- Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, organized and proactive.
