As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s travel and expense (T&E) accounting, procurement processes, and vendor relationships. You will oversee financial operations related to employee travel, corporate card programs, and supplier payments, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting related to T&E and procurement. You will analyze spending trends, support regional and subsidiary performance reporting, and collaborate with finance and other departments to provide data-driven insights that enhance strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to streamline employee travel booking, expense management, and procurement workflows.
Your impact will extend across all subsidiaries, including the Polish entity, ensuring smooth accounting operations, policy compliance, and continuous process improvements in expense management and procurement accounting.
You Will...
- Oversee T&E accounting, including employee expense reporting, corporate card transactions, and travel-related reconciliations across all subsidiaries
- Manage employee purchases and reimbursements, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with company policies
- Administer the supplier payment process, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments for the Polish subsidiary through established workflows.
- Handle cash management activities, including preparing cash transactions, posting daily banking activity, and reconciling cash accounts across Polish and foreign bank accounts.
- Manage relationships with internal and external
- Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, reviewing T&E and procurement-related accounts, and resolving discrepancies
- Provide financial reporting and analysis on travel and procurement expenses, including regional performance tracking and spending trends
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in the T&E and procurement function, identifying automation and policy enhancement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and audit requirements, supporting tax and external audits, particularly in areas related to T&E and accounts payable
- Contribute to finance-related projects and provide ad hoc financial reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
You Have…
- Accounting or finance-related studies
- 4+ year of professional experience in a similar position
- Advanced computer skills (including G Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
- Results-oriented/can-do attitude
- Accuracy, timeliness, patience
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Collaborative, proactive and with willingness to participate in a variety of international financial projects
