Our Client, a leading Asian bank, is expanding its Enterprise Analytics (EA) function in Kuala Lumpur to become a leader in Machine Learning models. This Senior Technical Delivery Manager role involves leading complex technology initiatives across cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms. Responsibilities include end-to-end project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining scope, managing risks, ensuring quality, facilitating agile ceremonies, and communicating progress to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will balance visionary thinking with practical solutions, inspire teams, and possess strong business acumen.

Must Have

• 6-9 years of Proven experience in technical project or delivery management
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern infrastructure
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project tracking tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.

The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

• This Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) role is responsible for leading the successful execution of complex technology initiatives across cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and stakeholder coordination to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects across cloud, AI, data, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, DevOps, and product managers.
• Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Track progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Communicate status updates and delivery metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support onboarding and coordination of external vendors or offshore teams.
