Job Description

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and direction. Drive technical decisions, best practices, and software architecture strategies. Oversee the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment. Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and best engineering practices. Work closely with stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals. Define long-term engineering strategies and drive innovation within the team. Requires 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, managing teams of 5 to 10 people. Experience designing scalable, high-performance applications and system architectures is essential.

Scalable application design
AWS, GCP, or Azure experience
Python, JavaScript, PHP, Kotlin/Java, or Swift proficiency

🎯 Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to lead engineering initiatives, mentor developers, and drive architectural and technical decisions. This role is onsite in Saudi Arabia, open to Saudi candidates or those with a transferable Iqama.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and direction.
Drive technical decisions, best practices, and software architecture strategies.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and best engineering practices.
Work closely with stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.
Define long-term engineering strategies and drive innovation within the team.

📋 Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, managing teams of 5 to 10 people.
Experience designing scalable, high-performance applications and system architectures.
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, PHP, Kotlin/Java, or Swift.
Experience with CI/CD, code refactoring, design patterns, and secure coding.
Strong knowledge of Git, version control, and automated deployment processes.
Experience leading engineering teams of 5 to 10 people.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and align engineering with product objectives.
Must be in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama or Saudi nationality.
