Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in software products and technology documentation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in creating high-quality, user-friendly technical content that simplifies complex concepts for a wide range of audiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and UX designers to produce documentation that supports product adoption, improves customer experience, and ensures clarity in technical communication, including user guides, API documentation, and knowledge base articles.
Must have:
  • Develop, write, and maintain product documentation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand features and architecture.
  • Create content for developer documentation including APIs, SDKs, and integration guides.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style standards.
  • Maintain and update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback.
  • Work with UI/UX teams to integrate in-product help, tooltips, and tutorials.
  • Contribute to documentation strategy, including structure, format, and knowledge management.
  • Leverage tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Confluence, Git, Markdown, and CMS systems.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Writer for software products.
  • Strong ability to understand and explain complex software concepts (cloud, APIs, integrations, SaaS).
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, Git, Oxygen XML).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and product development lifecycle.

As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and UX designers to produce documentation that supports product adoption, improves customer experience, and ensures clarity in technical communication.

How will you make an impact?

  • Develop, write, and maintain product documentation, including user guides, API documentation, installation guides, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand features, workflows, and architecture.
  • Create content for developer documentation including APIs, SDKs, and integration guides.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style standards.
  • Maintain and update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback.
  • Work with UI/UX teams to integrate in-product help, tooltips, and tutorials.
  • Contribute to documentation strategy, including structure, format, and knowledge management best practices.
  • Leverage tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Confluence, Git, Markdown, and CMS systems for authoring and publishing.
  • Collaborate with support teams to enhance knowledge base and self-service documentation.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Writer for software products.
  • Strong ability to understand and explain complex software concepts (cloud, APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, SaaS).
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, Git, Oxygen XML, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and product development lifecycle.
  • Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, cloud-based applications, and data platforms is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.
