Job Description

As a Senior Test Engineer at HCLTech, your primary responsibility will be to test software code according to allocated tasks and within established quality standards to meet client requirements. This involves creating and reviewing test cases based on functional specifications and software requirement specifications. You will be responsible for testing functionality as per the test plan and associated test cases. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of test plans as assigned, track test coverage, defect density, and other relevant metrics, and generate progress reports. Coordination with the team for discussions and interaction with clients for updates will also be part of your role.

Must Have:

Create and review test cases from functional specifications.
Test functionality as per the test plan and test cases.
Track test coverage and defect density.

Job Summary
To test software code as per work allocated within the quality standards prescribed so as to meet the client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To track test coverage, defect density, other relevant metrics, and publish progress reports.
5. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
