Job Description

This role is to establish and manage an IT environment for Wargaming employees in Singapore, ensuring work efficiency. Key responsibilities include detecting and resolving IT issues, implementing new IT solutions aligned with global strategy, and providing user support. The role is part of the Global IT team, reporting to the Regional IT Manager, APAC/Europe. Duties involve software/hardware configuration, troubleshooting, collaborating on global projects, and maintaining IT systems in Warsaw, including servers, networks, and workstations. Proactive monitoring and adherence to the Global IT Code of Conduct are also essential.
Must have:
  • Install and configure appropriate software and hardware according to specifications.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Analyze, resolve issues and implement new solutions to ensure end users' satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Global IT to deliver global projects in the region, and request new services and solutions as needed.
  • Facilitate operations of the IT environment including problem management, incident management, configuration and change management.
  • Contribute to global IT initiatives with professional knowledge and local insights.
  • Ensure proper operation of IT systems of WG Warsaw, including servers and network hardware, user workstations and laptop computers, printers, scanners etc.
  • Provide required user support both on-site and remotely as necessary, work as a team with other European offices when required.
  • Participate in on-call activities, incident response and off-hours routine maintenance.
  • Support the procurement process of IT hardware and software to have the best performance within the budget, aligning with relevant HQ and regional teams.
  • Pro-actively monitor the status of IT infrastructure, determine any issues or potential problems and recommend solutions.
  • Adhere to the Global IT Code of Conduct.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Polish (written and spoken).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Autonomous, fast learner, team player.

  • Certification as IT Engineer (e.g. Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
  • Experience in the gaming industry.
  • Jira.
  • Confluence.
  • CISCO products.
  • Video Conferencing.
  • Windows and Linux servers (basic knowledge).

Job Overview

This role has been set up to establish and manage a proper IT environment to ensure work efficiency of Wargaming employees in Singapore. The ability to detect, resolve IT issues and to implement new IT solutions aligning with global strategy is critical. This role is considered as a part of the Global IT team, and will report to the Regional IT Manager, APAC/Europe.

What will you do?

  • Install and configure appropriate software and hardware according to specifications.
