Job Description

This role is for a passionate Service Lead who ensures bicycles are perfectly adjusted and delivered within 24 hours, understanding their critical importance to customers. You will meticulously manage workshop orders, maintain team productivity, and ensure customer satisfaction by recommending necessary services and products. Leading by example, you'll stay updated on the latest technologies, including e-bikes, and ensure bikes are safe and ready for many kilometers.

  • Keep Service Options Menu updated with clear descriptions and correct prices.
  • Report product incidents to Trek Bicycle promptly.

Job Details

You have a passion for people and cycling; your heart beats faster when the bicycle in your hands is perfectly adjusted. You understand that our customers not only love their bikes but also depend on them. Delivering bikes in 24 hours or less is your goal, and you put all your energy and pride into it. It's simple. Our customers depend on their bikes, and you are there to provide a service that will surprise your customer in less than 24 hours. It's our commitment.

Exceptionally detailing workshop orders. Keeping your team of mechanics happy with perfect time management and making customers happy by selling the correct revisions and products. A customer may not know they need new tires, new cabling, a saddle, or a light. You are there to ensure the bike is in perfect condition and safe for many kilometers when picked up. You lead by example, have a "can-do" attitude, and are aware of and control the latest technologies. You are ready to receive and manage the growing electric bike market. Why? Because you are the best at taking care of them!

Position Description:

Bike Reception

  • Actively sell services and accessories. Ensuring our customers enjoy their bikes to the fullest. Thanks to your experience, knowing that better-adjusted bikes are more enjoyed and used by their owners.
  • You are responsible for achieving technical service objectives.

Responsible for a repair service in less than 24 hours

  • You are responsible for planning and keeping the mechanics team productive, respecting the <24-hour service.
  • During high season, this means managing overtime or adding a part-time mechanic. Naturally, you should discuss this with your Store Manager.
  • Be realistic. Not all customers need <24-hour service. Make sure you know exactly when our customers want to pick up their bike.
  • To comply with the <24-hour service, spare parts are necessary. You are the person responsible for having them in stock.

Training

  • Even the best mechanics need training to update themselves on the latest technologies. You are responsible for ensuring your team is at the highest level of knowledge and stays there.
  • Supervise the completion of Trek University courses by your team.
  • Think differently. Do new things to surprise your customers.

Workshop Maintenance

  • You ensure that, at the beginning, during, and end of the day (always), the workshop is clean and professional in appearance.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the Service Options Menu is up to date. Descriptions are clear, and prices are correct. Also in our store management software.

Product Incident Research and Reporting

  • Report any possible incidents to Trek Bicycle as soon as possible so that Trek can provide a solution.
  • Help when Trek requires your knowledge or feedback.

Other tasks

Sales support is the basis of our hospitality; a commercial spirit is an advantage.

It is mandatory to speak at least intermediate/upper intermediate English.
