As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation, development, and integration of ServiceNow products and solutions. This role involves driving strategic ITIL solution deployments, designing architecture, and ensuring the integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise. You will translate business requirements into technical blueprints, develop end-to-end implementations, and ensure solutions align with corporate standards. The role requires expertise in ServiceNow scripting, administration, and integration, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.

  • Design reusable frameworks for the ServiceNow Team
  • Review complex integrations for security adherence and compliance
  • Ensure visibility of ServiceNow product updates within the developer community
  • Effectively manage key stakeholders internally and externally

Job Details

What you'll do:

  • A ServiceNow Developer with proven thought knowledge in technical implementations, development of best practices.
  • Expertise in playing an Developer role in the delivery of ServiceNow Implementation projects and driving strategic transformational change of ITIL solution deployments.
  • Responsible for the architecture design and to drive implementation/integration of the ServiceNow product and Integration with other systems.
  • Able to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and prepare prototypes for proposed solutions.
  • Excellent at communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical mind with evaluative and problem-solving abilities, able to define technical solutions aligned with client’s business problems at an architectural and design level of detail.
  • Able to effectively undertake challenges and have experience in leading a project and teams in a complex environment.
  • Able to present business cases, strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Developer plays a major role in the delivery of ServiceNow Implementation projects and driving strategic transformational change of ITIL solution deployment.
  • Responsible for the implementation/integration of the ServiceNow product and Integration with other systems.
  • Responsible for the overall development, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise ensuring that the solution delivered to business units are engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.
  • Ensuring Solution Architect Analysis, Design and Planning on the ServiceNow Development activities.
  • Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve complex business objectives.
  • Participate in requirement gathering phase with requests and provide inputs on the requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, migrations, and transformation projects.
  • Ensure the instance health by working with the engagement team to reduce technical debt and align to ServiceNow leading practices.
  • Build and provide Expert solutions for best development related to ServiceNow scripting and administration. Ability to design reusable frameworks for the ServiceNow Team.
  • Review solutions for complex integrations keeping Security adherence intact for compliance needs of customers.
  • Ensure visibility of all updates and changes related to ServiceNow Products are reviewed and shared amongst the ServiceNow Developer community.
  • Effectively managing key stakeholders both internally with in IT/Sec and externally with other Business units.

Skills you'll need:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in owning ServiceNow Development (coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes) in the application.
  • Minimum 3 full ServiceNow implementations acting as a Developer.
  • Extensive experience with technical solution design and implementing SaaS and PaaS solutions, with specific Cloud implementation knowledge in architecting solutions for ServiceNow or similar ITIL implementations.
  • Experience in designing architecture & Working knowledge of all ServiceNow/ITIL modules (including but not limited to ITSM Pro, HAM, ITOM, Orchestration).
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON etc.
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including Integration Hub, REST, Service Graph Connectors, Web Services, etc.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management tools, methods and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including polished presentation skills with the ability to deliver technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, problem solving and decision- making skills.
  • Demonstrate strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.

The following skills will be considered plus

  • Expertise in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets and UI Pages.
  • ServiceNow Certifications nice to have: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and CAD.
