The Signal and Power Integrity Principal Application Engineer will analyze customer environments, evaluate engineering solutions, and address high-speed signal and power integrity issues. This role requires in-depth knowledge of EDA, electromagnetics, thermal, and RF design, with expertise in Cadence Allegro tools. The engineer will work independently with customers, communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders, and ensure customer success by developing creative solutions.
Must have:
  • Analyze customer's environment and evaluate appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Knowledgeable and aware of competitive technologies.
  • Anticipate technical issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Understand high speed, high performance signal and power integrity related issues.
  • Work with peers and other business groups.
  • Work on-site with customers without supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with Cadence R&D, Product Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and customers.
  • Understand customer success criteria and ensure customer success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of EDA industry.
  • Strong background in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Electromagnetics, Thermal, and RF related to Package and PCB Design.
  • Experience in Cadence Allegro platform tools (Sigrity, Clarity, Celsius, PCB Editor, IC Package) or competitive tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present and clearly articulate solutions.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years related experience. In-depth knowledge of EDA industry with strong background in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Electromagnetics, Thermal, and RF related to Package and PCB Design are required. Candidate should have experience in Cadence Allegro platform tools including: Sigrity, Clarity, Celsius, PCB Editor, IC Package, or competitive tools in these areas. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present and clearly articulate solutions individually, and in front of medium to large groups is essential.
