Job Description
Valeo is seeking a Site P1 Quality PTM to manage project quality, ensuring compliance with client and internal objectives. The role involves establishing quality roadmaps, risk detection, and escalating obstacles. Key responsibilities include ensuring CPM compliance, focusing on design and change management, and supporting supplier activities. The PTM will also validate SI with clients, apply QRQC rules, and manage a team of engineers and technicians, defining their qualifications and career development.
Must Have:
- Manage project quality roadmap and objectives.
- Detect risks and escalate obstacles.
- Ensure CPM compliance and integrated quality standards.
- Challenge other PTMs.
- Consider product/process novelty in DFMEA, PFMEA, DV, PV.
- Verify LLC usage in FMEA D/P to reduce RPN.
- Ensure 4M matrix compliance for changes post-design freeze.
- Update quality documents after product/process changes.
- Participate in design reviews, including supplier/tool manufacturers.
- Revise control plan after problems/test results.
- Support internal/external supplier parts activities.
- Collect supplier problems and alternative proposals.
- Define prototype, series, and pre-series control plans.
- Ensure consistency between SPPC, FMEA, and control plan.
- Participate in FDPR and pre-FDPR.
- Prepare client and internal SI deliverables for validation.
- Participate in project QRQC and ensure team uses QRQC rules.
- Manage all problems in the single problem list via QRQC.
- Apply "Stop at first disagree" and "Stop at first no" strategies in QRQC.
- Initiate VIM incident for DV or PV test failures.
- Manage team of engineers and technicians (reviews, meetings, objectives).
- Define qualifications and training plans for the team.
- Assign team to project activities.

Level 1:
- Manage quality in the project
- Establish and follow the project quality roadmap to achieve quality objectives (client and VALEO) and cost objectives – Define the quality cost of your project – Monitor key client milestones
- Detect risks and prevent problems from start to finish
- React when a risk is identified, escalate obstacles to PG/PL management
- Ensure CPM compliance
- Compliance with integrated quality standards: The SPPC tracking sheet is used – The SPPC identification procedure is respected – SPPC transfer to the supplier via VRFs
- Challenge other PTMs in their activities
- Focus on design and change
- Ensure product and process novelty is considered in DFMEA, PFMEA, DV, and PV
- Verify that LLCs have been used and respected in FMEA D/P to reduce RPN
- After design freeze, ensure compliance with the 4M matrix regarding product or process changes and ensure client awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix
- Update quality documents following a product/process related change
- Participate in design review, including supplier design review and tool manufacturers
- Perform control plan revision after a problem and/or after test results
- Support supplier management activities
- Defined support activities for internal and external supplier parts at Valeo sites, to support the Purchasing and SQA team, as defined in the quality RASIC document
- Collect problems encountered by suppliers and alternative proposals made by suppliers to integrate best practices
- Have the SI validated by the client on time
- Define the prototype and series and pre-series control plan as the key milestone owner
- Ensure consistency between SPPC, FMEA, and the control plan
- Participate in FDPR and pre-FDPR
- Prepare client and internal SI deliverables, the internal initial sample file to be validated by the site quality manager before presenting the initial sample file to the client for approval
- QRQC rules are applied
- Participate in project QRQC and ensure the project team uses QRQC material/rules
- Ensure all problems are in the single problem list and manage them in QRQC
- Throughout project QRQC, ensure rules are respected and "Stop at first disagree" and "Stop at first no" strategies are applied
- Initiate a VIM incident in case of DV or PV test failure
Level 2:
- Management and skills:
- Manage your team of engineers and technicians (annual reviews, meetings, assignments, objectives)
- Define the necessary qualifications and training plan for your team with the support of your management
- Assign your team to project activities
- Propose training and career developments with the support of your management
