As Site Quality Director, you will shape the site’s quality culture and operational excellence. You will lead the transformation of quality systems and mindsets, embedding continuous improvement, eliminating waste, and championing a consumer-first approach. About the role

As Site Quality Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the site’s quality culture and operational excellence. Beyond ensuring compliance, you will lead the transformation of quality systems and mindsets—embedding continuous improvement, eliminating waste, and championing a consumer-first approach. This is a high-visibility leadership position with significant influence across the organisation and a clear trajectory for future advancement within Haleon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the site Quality team with a focus on our license to operate, consumer first, fostering a culture of waste elimination and continuous improvement.
  • Translate strategic business needs and drivers into clear, actionable quality initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation of Haleon Quality standards and regulatory requirements (OTC and Medical Device) into simple and compliant processes and always ensuring inspection readiness.
  • Champion the development of a high-performing, agile and engaged Quality organization with a strong talent pipeline and succession planning.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs) to ensure timely and effective resolution of quality issues and trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality into every aspect of site operations.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring robust corrective action plans and sustained compliance.
  • Promote a consumer-first mindset, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages challenging status quo, problem-solving, and the adoption of best practices.

EHS Responsibilities

  • Ensuring full compliance with all applicable Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing unsafe conditions, behaviours, or practices.
  • Leading by example in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
  • Ensuring timely reporting and investigation of all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and hazardous material releases.
  • Promoting continuous EHS awareness and ensuring all team members complete required training.
  • Collaborating with EHS and site leadership to drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong background in manufacturing, quality, or technical operations.
  • Proven expertise in GMPs and regulatory compliance (OTC, Medical Devices).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a large organization (+100), grow teams, drive performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong execution discipline, continuous improvement mindset and capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance risk and deliver compliant and practical solutions.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Willingness to travel (10–20%) as needed.
