Job Description

The Site Sourcing Specialist will manage project suppliers, optimize purchasing processes, and analyze Bill of Materials to reduce costs. Key responsibilities include negotiating framework agreements, securing part quotes, evaluating offers, and managing supplier relationships. The role also involves addressing part obsolescence and redistributing parts during supply crises to ensure operational efficiency and competitiveness.
Must have:
  • High school education (economic/technical)
  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial company (e.g., quality, project management, purchasing, procurement)
  • Fluent English and Czech (written and spoken)
  • Ability to read and navigate drawing documentation
  • PC skills (MS Office)
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Driving license (B)

Job Details

How can you contribute to the change and development of our company?

  • Manage project suppliers and improve purchasing processes (planning, BOM tracking, risk and opportunity management, material supply plan setup)
  • Analyze the Bill of Materials (BOM) and propose ways to reduce prices and costs
  • Negotiate framework agreements with suppliers - negotiate terms
  • Secure part quotes from suppliers and manage negotiations
  • Evaluate offers and select suppliers with approval from quality, project manager, and commodity manager
  • Maximize service performance and competitiveness through systematic cost analysis
  • Manage the part obsolescence process in cooperation with suppliers and communicate it with sales and project management, proposing alternative solutions
  • Manage the redistribution of parts needed for Service and OE in case of an unexpected supplier crisis

What will you need?
