SoC Silicon Reliability Engineer

The SoC Silicon Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the reliability of Apple's SoC/Application Processor products and packages. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to introduce new AP products and ensure manufacturability. Responsibilities include driving product, process, and package qualification and reliability tests, as well as failure analysis during qualification. The engineer must apply JEDEC, ISO, and other quality-related standards, understanding the science behind them. They need to understand reliability failure modes of silicon and packaging technologies and have experience with reliability hardware, stress patterns, and equipment for various tests. The role also involves implementing ongoing quality improvement processes with suppliers.

Must Have

• Drive product, process, and package qualification and reliability tests.
• Drive Failure analysis during product or package qualification.
• Apply JEDEC quality related standards and ISO.
• Know reliability fail modes of silicon and packaging technologies.
• Experience with reliability HW and stress pattern setups.
