SoC Silicon Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description
The SoC Silicon Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the reliability of Apple's SoC/Application Processor products and packages. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to introduce new AP products and ensure manufacturability. Responsibilities include driving product, process, and package qualification and reliability tests, as well as failure analysis during qualification. The engineer must apply JEDEC, ISO, and other quality-related standards, understanding the science behind them. They need to understand reliability failure modes of silicon and packaging technologies and have experience with reliability hardware, stress patterns, and equipment for various tests. The role also involves implementing ongoing quality improvement processes with suppliers.
Must have:
- Drive product, process, and package qualification and reliability tests.
- Drive Failure analysis during product or package qualification.
- Apply JEDEC quality related standards and ISO.
- Know reliability fail modes of silicon and packaging technologies.
- Experience with reliability HW and stress pattern setups.
Job Details
This candidate will be responsible for Apple SoC/Application Processor Product and Package Reliability. Candidate will work closely with cross functional teams and subcontractors to coordinate the introduction of new AP products and ensure product manufacturability. - Drive SoC/AP product, process and package qualification and reliability tests - Drive Failure analysis during product or package qualification - Experience applying JEDEC quality related standards, ISO and the science behind them. - Must know reliability fail modes of silicon / packaging technologies and fail mechanisms with respect to reliability. - Experience with reliability HW and Stress Pattern setups and equipment for life, environmental, ESD, Latch-Up testing - Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with the suppliers
