Job Description

The Social Media Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally on social media marketing, developing creative content strategies that resonate with target audiences. Responsibilities include analyzing metrics, optimizing strategies, working with international teams and agencies, managing multiple concurrent campaigns, reporting consumer sentiment, and creating presentations. The role requires expertise in video content and a strong understanding of social media platforms. The candidate may also serve as a corporate spokesperson (after training).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Collaborates and works cross-functionally on development, execution, messaging, and content strategy for social media marketing activities.
  • Brainstorm and develop creative ideas that resonate with target audiences and align with brand messaging.
  • Analyzes metrics such as views and engagement to measure success and optimize future strategies.
  • Work internationally, cross-functionally, and across agency partners to explore and identify ways to drive awareness, advocacy, and purchase intent for the brand and products.
  • Support multiple campaigns, often launching or executing concurrently, and identify real-time improvements while monitoring and reporting consumer sentiment and conversion to internal teams.
  • Develop presentations on social media activities as needed.
  • Serve as a social media expert, specializing in video content, maintaining a cutting edge understanding of video best practices, features, strategies, and tactics.
  • As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson; successful completion of training required.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of social media marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms – both as a marketer and as a user
  • Experience with community engagement activity on social media platforms
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong writing, editing, and communications skills
  • Experience with social media analytics including interpretation of data and creating actionable insights from that data
  • Experience using social platform management tools
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video production practices
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
 
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
   
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
  
   
This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Please see our  for more benefits information.
