Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Developer for their Montreal-based Battlefield team, Foundational Tech. This hybrid role focuses on building community-first experiences through continuous innovation. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, strong C# and CI solutions knowledge, and expertise in debugging issues across projects and code branches. They will collaborate with engineers, production, technical directors, and QA to ensure development stability, reporting to a Development Director and working with a European build systems team.
Must have:
  • Understand technical changes and debug issues across projects and code branches.
  • Work with engineers, production, technical directors, and QA to ensure development stability.
  • Possess knowledge of C#, CI solutions, Perforce, and build systems.
  • Communicate build status and known issues across departments and time zones.

We are looking for an engineer like you to join our team who has experience understanding technical changes and debugging and diagnosing issues across projects and code branches. Ideally you also enjoy building tools to help improve workflows. You will work with engineers, production, technical directors and QA to ensure development stability.

This job will report to a Development Director and work closely with our build systems team based in europe.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of C# and CI solutions, perforce and build systems
  • Experience analyzing and debugging the source of an issue across projects and branches
  • Comfortable relaying information with diverse departments such as production, QA and leadership teams on build status and known issues; including across time zones
  • Bonus - familiarity with C++, Azure, JavaScript and Jenkins.
