Must have:
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications according to project specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using relevant programming languages.

  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest software development technologies and best practices.
  • Master’s degree plus three years of experience in software development OR Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience in software development.
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering software platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java.
  • Experience building RESTful web-services using frameworks like Spring and utilizing tools such as Git and Maven.
  • Working with relational or NoSQL databases, along with related technologies in Linux/Unix.
  • Utilizing front-end technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Grunt, HTML5, CSS3, and various cloud technologies for UI development.
  • Performing unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality using test frameworks and tools like testNG, and Junit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information.
  • Experience with using Agile/Scrum methodology for software development.

Job Duties:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing software applications according to project specifications.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using relevant programming languages.
  • Performing unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborating with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Staying updated with the latest software development technologies and best practices.
  • Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline plus three years of experience in software development.
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related technical discipline plus five years of experience in software development.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Experience designing, developing, and delivering software platforms (3 years)

2. In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java (3 years)

3. Experience building RESTful web-services using framework like Spring and utilizing tools such as Git and Maven (3 years)

4. Working with relational or NoSQL databases, along with related technologies in Linux/Unix (3 years)

5. Utilizing front-end technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Grunt, HTML5, CSS3, and various cloud technologies for UI development (3 years)

6. Performing unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality using test frameworks and tools like testNG, and Junit (3 years)

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences (3 years)
