Job Description

Join the Software Engineering - Fraud and Scam Chapter to design and code applications that safeguard customers from fraud and scams. This role involves developing cutting-edge technologies to automate scam and digital intrusion alerts, focusing on building high TPS, low latency APIs and applications using Abinitio to stay ahead of fraudsters.
Must have:
  • Experienced in software engineering with a passion for leadership
  • Solid hands-on experience of data engineering/ETL principles and practices with Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks
  • Confident demonstrating coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members
  • Mindset to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices
  • Experience in developing and deploying high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision
  • Experience with estimating development effort for new features
  • Ability to lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity
  • Hands-on programming experience of 2-4 years in Ab Initio related products and shell scripting
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools
  • AWS Cloud
  • Integration knowledge of MQs, REST APIs and Kafka
  • CI/CD concepts and ability to create pipelines in Jenkins, Teamcity, Ab Initio EME
  • Coding in Python, Java
  • DevOps and production support
Good to have:
  • Background with both Batch and continuous flows in Ab Initio

You’ll be joining our Software Engineering - Fraud and Scam Chapter. Essentially, you’ll be designing and coding for our applications, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers from the ever-evolving landscape of fraud and scams.

You’ll be working in the exciting world of “staying ahead of fraudsters and scammers”, supporting the design & development of cutting-edge technologies to automate scams and digital intrusion alerts. With a focus on building high TPS low latency applications you’ll be developing API’s and applications using Abinitio.

We’re interested in hearing from people who

  • Have solid hands-on experience of data engineering/ETL principles and practices with Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
  • Are confident demonstrating coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Have ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
