Job Description

The AI and Analytics Team within Actimize is developing a next-generation advanced analytical cloud platform to enhance financial crime programs. This role involves developing this platform for Actimize's cloud-based solutions, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies. The new SaaS platform will empower major financial institutions globally to create solutions for combating financial crime.
Good To Have:
  • Java, Scala, JavaScript programming.
  • Frontend experience (Angular, React).
  • Basic Networking (VPCs, Load Balancers, DNS).
  • Container orchestration (K8s, Helm).
  • MLOps Engineering Experience.
Must Have:
  • Develop high quality, enterprise-grade products.
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams.
  • Implement/Improve system monitoring, alerting & observability.
  • Build & maintain cloud native applications on AWS.
  • Automate infrastructure for AWS services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • 2-4 years software engineering experience.
  • Python development experience.
  • Created/deployed cloud native microservices on AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory).
  • Proficiency in Data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices.
  • Ability to create AWS microservices (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB).
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proactiveness and ownership.

Within Actimize, the AI and Analytics Team is developing the next generation advanced analytical cloud platform that will harness the power of data to provide maximum accuracy for our clients’ Financial Crime programs. As part of the PaaS/SaaS development group, you will be responsible for developing this platform for Actimize cloud-based solutions and to work with cutting edge cloud technologies.

This new SaaS platform will enable our customers (some of the biggest financial institutes around the world) to create solutions on the platform to fight financial crime.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Develop high quality, proficient and enterprise grade products
  • Work as part of the development team towards the application in a committed deadline
  • Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools.
  • Implement/Improve system monitoring, alerting & observability.
  • Build & maintain cloud native applications on AWS
  • Creates the infrastructure through automation for hosting the services on AWS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/relevant course
  • 2-4 years of experience working in software Industry as a software engineer (part of SW development team and not support team)
  • Development experience using Python.
  • Must have created and deployed cloud native micro services preferably on AWS ecosystem from scratch
  • Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Artifactory
  • Experience with implementation of Data structure and algorithms

Must have Skills:

  • Good understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures
  • Ability to create cloud native microservices on AWS using API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB
  • Experience working on a Scrum Team in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting and bug fixing skills.
  • Candidate must have displayed proactiveness and ownership.

Technical Skills:

Must Have:

  • Programming Language: Python, SQL
  • Cloud: AWS Compute, Storages and Services to host APIs, API Gateway & Lambda
  • Infra automation Tools: Terraform
  • CI CD: Jenkins
  • Version Control Systems: Git Hub
  • Containers: Docker, ECS/EKS on AWS
  • Operating System: Linux and Windows

Nice to have:
