We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Product Development team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is crucial for supporting the development of C# based products related to testing, documentation, release management, and contributing to our DevOps framework. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, collaborating with teams, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with technology trends. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Must have:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help SimCorp grow our presence in Product Development. No prior experience required - recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

As a C# Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of multiple C# based products related to testing, documentation, release management, and contributing to our DevOps framework.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C# and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
  • Work as part of your scrum team to reach the definition of done within each sprint

ESSENTIAL

  • Hands-on experience utilizing .NET technologies, with a focus on C#
  • Knowledge in building REST APIs using the .NET stack.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principals (OOP, SOLID) and proven ability to use them in practice
  • Practical knowledge of software development practices (TDD, BDD)
  • Proficient in Git
  • Familiar with agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions

DESIRABLE

  • Azure cloud infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience with Docker

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Experience working in an international setting with people from many different cultures
