This role involves developing new Mail features and enhancing existing ones like Categorization, Email Composition, and Apple Intelligence in Mail. You will participate in feature planning and development from beginning to end, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as AIML, WebKit, UI Frameworks, and the Human Interface group. The ideal candidate is innovative, self-motivated, and prioritizes quality and user experience.
Must have:
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Self-directed problem-solving ability
- Strong Swift or Objective-C programming skills
- Experience with user interfaces and UI frameworks
Good to have:
- Enthusiasm for user experience and design
- Experience with JavaScript and/or WebKit

In this role, you’ll help us develop exciting new Mail features while taking existing features like Categorization, Email Composition and Apple Intelligence in Mail to the next level. You’ll be involved in feature planning and development from start to finish and collaborate with cross-functional partner teams at Apple such as AIML, WebKit, UI Frameworks, and the Human Interface group. Our ideal candidate is innovative, self-motivated, and cares deeply about quality and the user experience. This is a unique opportunity to work on an essential native app used by millions of customers across Apple’s platforms.
- You have strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- You are self-directed and can solve problems independently.
- You have strong object-oriented programming skills in Swift or Objective-C.
- You have experience working on user interfaces and adopting UI frameworks.
- You are enthusiastic about user experience and design.
- Experience with JavaScript and/or WebKit.
