Job Description

The Trust and Safety team at Apple is seeking an expert Technical Program Manager to safeguard Apple services through threat modeling, policy formulation, and machine learning. This role involves developing and implementing online safety systems like Safety Check, blocking capabilities, and user reporting. The manager will drive business evolution, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deploy effective solutions, requiring outstanding communication and a passion for secure user experiences.

  • Work closely with Legal, Privacy and Security teams to design and implement solutions.
  • 5 years of program management experience with consumer-facing products.
  • Experience in designing and operating highly distributed, scalable and available systems.
  • Understanding of big data and machine learning systems, tools and technologies.
  • Self-starting, self-directed, results producing and self-sufficient.
  • Flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, results driven environment.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
