Software Engineer (SAP Application Engineer), IS&T Enterprise Systems

Apple is seeking a Software Engineer (SAP Application Engineer) for its IS&T Enterprise Systems team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining software solutions to optimize business processes, leveraging advanced technologies for scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The engineer will contribute to architecture design, develop high-quality SAP solutions, manage multiple tasks, and proactively adopt new technologies to solve complex business challenges and support strategic organizational goals.

Must Have

• 2 years ABAP development experience in RICEFW, OData service, REST/SOAP-based API design and integration
• 2 years experience working with S/4 HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and RAP
• 2 years experience in performance tuning of HANA models
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Good to Have

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a developer-at-heart attitude
• Knowledge of software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
• Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5, Fiori, and CAP
• Knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform and Services

Participate in architecture review meetings and contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions. Develop reusable and flexible technical frameworks and architectures to support future projects. Deliver high-quality SAP solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight timelines. Manage multiple tasks and parallel initiatives with shifting priorities. Proactively explore and adopt new technologies and development frameworks. Learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively in practical scenarios. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and drive issue resolution across teams. Maintain a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with sensitivity to schedules and scope. Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Work seamlessly with distributed, multi-regional teams across different time zones.
