Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in Austin, TX. The role involves providing technical and architectural expertise for the Lifecycle Engineering Organization and Operations. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure, automating release processes and tooling, resolving complex technical issues, driving innovations for system availability, resilience, and performance, and acting as an Agile champion. The candidate will also create and maintain technical documentation. Telecommuting is an option, with potential for some travel to Salesforce offices.

Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in Austin, TX:

Job Duties: Provide technical and architectural expertise for the teams within Lifecycle Engineering Organization and Operations roles. Design, implement and maintain the infrastructure used to power our service. Automate the release process and the tooling involved including the orchestration engine, etc. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience and performance. Be an Agile champion and work fluently with other team members. Create, maintain and share technical documentation used by other team members. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Computer Architecture and Data Structures; (2) Automation; (3) Cloud infrastructure (4) Library/Tools development; (5) Continuous Integration; (6)  REST API; (7) Database (MySQL); (8) Unix/Linux. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
