Job Description

Salesforce is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for its Digital Marketing Technology group. This role focuses on building experiences and platform services for corporate websites, driving innovation globally with best-in-class technology. Responsibilities include architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure high-quality product releases. The engineer will work with a team to build breakthrough features, maintaining a stable and scalable platform. Candidates should have deep experience in marketing technologies, content management, and customer identity experiences, with a track record of delivering transformative solutions.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in test-driven development and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, and other related test frameworks a plus)
  • Experience in Service orchestration using tools like Terraform (preferred)
Must Have:
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs and services
  • Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable, extensible, maintainable and observable services
  • Operate effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and architects
  • Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
  • Proficient in modern software architectural principles and patterns
  • Experience delivering distributed systems and high-scale microservices on AWS
  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Experience developing front-end and back-end software, including JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js
  • Experience working with authentication and authorization protocols/frameworks
  • Experience in working with AI models and integration with LLM gateways
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Role Scope

The Full Stack Software Engineer role would be part of Salesforce’s Digital Marketing Technology group which focus

building experiences and platform services for our corporate websites.

The focus also would to drive innovation of our digital experiences globally, leveraging best-in-class technology and systems.

This role encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products right and release them with high quality. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers to build the breakthrough features our customers will love, adopt and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Deep and proven experience within the marketing technologies domain, with focus on areas like content management, classification and taxonomy, Customer Identity experiences
  • Track record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable, extensible, maintainable and observable services
  • Operate effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment where engineers are expected to be able to design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their code as well as other engineers'
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and architects to build new features our internal customers will adopt while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable
  • Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
  • Proficient in modern software architectural principles and patterns (Domain-driven design, REST, GraphQL etc)
  • Experience delivering distributed systems and high-scale microservices on AWS
  • Experience with serverless architecture (AWS components like Lambda , API Gateway, DynamoDB , AppSync, OpenSearch, ElastiCache etc)
  • Experience developing front-end and back-end software, preferably including JavaScript or TypeScript and runtimes, including Node.js.
  • Experience working with authentication and authorization protocols/frameworks (OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML etc.)
  • Experience in working with AI models and integration with LLM gateways
  • Experience in test-driven development and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, and other related test frameworks a plus).
  • Experience in Service orchestration using tools like Terraform (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
