Software Industrial Technical Project Engineer

Valeo is a global tech company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent mobility. This role is accountable for deliverables, focusing on customer A/B/C/D sample delivery, including DV/PV. The engineer will ensure robust design for manufacturing and validation, align with economic targets, and conduct technical/design reviews. Responsibilities also include reporting, scheduling contributions, resource identification, R&D activity breakdown, budget follow-up, and daily management of R&D Manufacturing contributors. The role supports SW development, optimization, debugging for industrialization, and overall project communication for production launch, including issue reporting and escalation.

Must Have

• Accountable for customer A/B/C/D sample deliverables including DV/PV
• Ensure robust design for Manufacturing/validation in line with economic targets
• Conduct Technical/Design Reviews with R&D, Purchasing, Industrial networks
• Report and escalate to relevant R&D/Industrial/Quality network as needed
• Contribute to A/B/C/D scheduling and identification of resource, equipment, investment needs
• Establish simple breakdown of R&D activities to meet customer delivery on time
• Follow activities and spending within scope to meet allowed budget
• Daily management of all R&D Manufacturing contributors
• Understanding industrial process and proposing automation improvement
• Understanding digitalization constraints
• Product development process understanding
• SW development support, optimization and debugging, for industrialization
• Support overall communication within the project to secure production launch
• Support issue reporting, monitoring, tracking and escalation
• Reporting to the R&D team manager support for industrial launch hierarchically

Accountable for the deliverables

• Focus to customer A/B/C/D sample deliverable including DV/ PV
• In charge of the robust design for Manufacturing / validation in line with the economic targets
• Make sure that Technical/Design Reviews with other networks are happening in a timely manner (R&D, Purchasing, Industrial)
• Report and escalate to the relevant R&D / Industrial / Quality network as needed
• Contribute for the A/B/C/D scheduling
• Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments
• Establish simple break down of the R&D activities to meet the customer delivery on time
• Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget
• Management of the contributors Daily management of all R&D Manufacturing contributors.
