Software Development Engineer III

Amex GBT is looking for a dedicated Java developer to join their team in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, focusing on their global air booking platform. The role involves designing and developing software components, improving microservice systems, and driving technical implementations. The ideal candidate will work with Agile, TDD, BDD, and DevOps methodologies, utilizing technologies like Java 17, Spring Boot, AWS, Microservices, React, and various databases. Strong communication and full-stack development experience are essential for this full-time position.

Must Have

• Design and develop software application components and automated tests.
• Define and improve microservice systems in production.
• Drive technical implementations on small and large scales.
• Work with Agile, TDD, BDD, and DevOps methodologies.
• Use Hexagonal Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Event Storming, Software Craftsmanship.
• Employ Java 17, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core), AWS, Microservices, React, REST, HATEOAS, Mongo DB, Hadoop, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkins, Git technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience in full stack software development including Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Frontend frameworks (React, Angular etc.) and libraries, Responsive web design implementation with a good eye on testing paradigms for web and native development.
