Autodesk is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. Our team develops, maintains, and supports components of the Autodesk Fusion platform, focusing on PLM solutions and services, including Fusion Manage and Manage Extension for Fusion.
We are looking for individuals that are customer-focused and passionate about delivering high quality solutions. As a Software QA Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for developing and executing test cases and automated tests.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Scrum team operations, ensuring user stories are validated on time and meet acceptance criteria.
- Translate user story and feature requirements to test plans and test cases.
- Execute end-to-end manual workflow tests.
- Conduct various tests, including functional, regression, system integration, performance, load, and exploratory.
- Work with senior Quality stakeholders and scrum team members to identify test automation strategy for new features.
- Evaluate risk, quality, and stability of software capabilities, and propose solutions to reduce quality risks.
- Ensure quality gates are met for software deliverables, maintaining stable environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience in defining and executing validation strategies for web and cloud-based software.
- Experience with testing backend and web applications, including API testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile processes and QA methodologies.
- Experience with tracking and test case management tools like Jira, Confluence, Xray.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress etc.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git/Github.
- Exposure to scripting in Postman or similar tools for REST API testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker.
- Experience with testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS.
