This role is for an Enterprise Platform Design Leader within the Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization. The leader will create best-in-class experiences for Sales and Customer Success teams, focusing on increasing user efficiency with design systems, creating interactive prototypes, and ensuring a seamless customer journey. The position merges design and engineering, bringing innovative creative concepts to life, and involves building tools and frameworks for broader design and engineering teams, while staying current on emerging technologies and design trends.
Good To Have:
  • MA/MFA degree in Computer Science, Design or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with agile software design methods.
  • Experience building brand experiences and marketing websites that are global and localized.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing multi-channel experiences.
  • Expertise in SalesForce SLDS2.
  • Experience creating localized products for an international audience.
  • Experience with user experience design for desktop software.
  • Knowledge of products.
  • Experience in large global enterprise organizations.
Must Have:
  • 8+ years experience in both design and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams solving customer challenges through problem definition, workflow analysis, schematics, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Basic knowledge of customer journeys and how to identify opportunities for content touchpoints.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas, varied viewpoints, and large amounts of data to their essence.
  • Experience with Figma and other current design tools.
  • Proficient experience and a deep understanding of JavaScript with 5+ years professional experience building websites and web applications using modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, SASS.
  • Amazing communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort in an extremely fast-paced environment with constantly evolving processes.

Position Overview

Designers can think across systems, champion design ideas, collaborate with stakeholders, advocate for customers, and deliver impactful data-driven designs. Our design teams use creative and innovative solutions to deliver high quality experiences our customers will love.

The Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization creates best-in-class experiences for customers as they discover, try, buy, use, and renew access to our products. We also create self-service tools to automate internal processes. The Experience Design (XD) team within GET includes interaction design, visual design, research, and content strategy. The Enterprise Platform Design Leader will join a team creating experiences for our Sales and Customer Success teams and will work closely with our design system, content design and visual design teams to establish communication and efficiency between design and engineering. You will work across many different parts of the organization with a focus on increasing the efficiency of the users utilizing our design systems, creating interactive prototypes, and helping to create a seamless, end-to-end customer journey.

As a Platform Design Leader, you'll merge the roles of design and engineering, bringing the most innovative creative concepts to life. You will need a passion for both design and technical skills. You'll work on a broad range of digital needs from working closely with feature teams to create interactive prototypes to creating innovative Figma plug-ins and strengthening collaboration between designers and developers. You will also work with teams across to understand best practices and solve problems in a scalable and future-proof way. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in an enterprise organization and/or internal experience design departments with a focus on web technologies.

Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Platform Design Leader your projects might include:

  • Deliver engaging SalesForce experiences using the latest front-end technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate across product, engineering, and design teams through the full product development cycle
  • Identify and prioritize efforts most impactful to design and engineering
  • Build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader design and engineering teams
  • Stay current on emerging technologies - research and make informed recommendations on implementation
  • Stay current on design and brand trends collaborating with creatives and designers to ensure design intent is realized and even exceeded in production
  • Clearly communicating project status, risks, and challenges

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in both design and development

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $133,300 and $215,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
