Must Have

  • Define and communicate product vision and roadmap for payments.
  • Stay updated on payment industry trends, regulations, and customer needs.
  • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prioritize features based on business value and feasibility.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and business teams.
  • Ensure payment features meet global and regional regulatory standards (PSD2, PCI DSS, AML).
  • Track key performance metrics and use data insights for improvement.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager in payments or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, operations, and processing ecosystems.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with various payment methods and settlement processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset.

Job Responsibilities/ 工作职责:

The position has a front row seat to impact our Razer Gold product. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner – Payments to lead the development and implementation of our payments track. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, design, and delivery of payment features that align with business objectives and customer needs. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders, development teams, and business units, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that enhance our payments ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the payments landscape, combining strong technical acumen with business strategy expertise. You will be tasked with identifying market opportunities, setting priorities, and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. This includes not only defining the product roadmap but also ensuring that every feature meets the highest standards of quality, scalability, and compliance.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and external partners to build innovative payment solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. By leveraging data insights and industry trends, you will continuously refine our offerings, ensuring they remain competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our payments platform and driving its success in the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the payments track, aligning with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Stay updated on payment industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs to shape the product strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with the development team.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and business teams to deliver payment features on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between development efforts and the overall product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all payment features meet global and regional regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed about PSD2, PCI DSS, AML, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of both established and emerging payment methods, supported by market analysis and industry insights.
  • Technical Understanding: In-depth familiarity with digital payment systems and the infrastructure required to support seamless client integration. integration processes operate, with a solid understanding of APIs and services a plus

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, payment operations, and processing ecosystems.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with payment methods (e.g., cards, e-wallets, bank transfers) and settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing payment systems, such as PSD2 and PCI DSS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Customer-centric mindset and passion for delivering impactful solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Entrepreneurial or startup experience is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding or working experience in e-commerce & gaming industry is a plus.
