Job Summary
Beghou Consulting is seeking an experienced Software QA Manager to lead quality assurance for proprietary platforms and enterprise applications. The role involves building and leading QA teams, driving end-to-end QA processes, and implementing robust QA frameworks. Responsibilities include test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting, with a focus on automation using tools like Selenium and performance testing with JMeter/LoadRunner. The manager will ensure quality in cloud-based software, collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD integration, and champion best practices. Key tasks involve defining and tracking KPIs, conducting root cause analysis for production issues, and collaborating with product managers and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Experience in life sciences or healthcare software is a plus.

Job Description
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide career mentorship, performance guidance, and development opportunities to team members.
- Create awareness of QA offerings across the organization and act as a strong representative of QA in cross-functional discussions.
- Process Ownership & Execution
- Drive end-to-end ownership of QA processes and deliverables — from requirement gathering through release validation.
- Design and implement robust QA frameworks, including test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting.
- Build and scale test automation frameworks using Selenium and performance tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
- Oversee implementation of automation and continuous integration pipelines to accelerate release cycles without compromising on quality.
- Quality Operations
- Ensure QA processes effectively address scalability, performance, security, and data integrity aspects of cloud-based software.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate quality into CI/CD workflows using agile ticket tracking and reporting tools.
- Champion the adoption of industry best practices and modern QA tools to improve speed, efficiency, and test coverage.
- Ensure the quality of client deliverables/implementations.
- Ensure compliance with GRC processes and provide support to internal and external audits, as needed.
- Metrics & Improvement
- Define and track key KPIs and quality metrics to provide visibility into test coverage, defect rates, release readiness, and overall product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize testing strategies and processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle to embed quality from ideation to deployment.
- Participate actively in requirement gathering sessions, translating business needs into clear and testable acceptance criteria.
- Partner with release management teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of cloud-based releases.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 12–15 years of QA experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, performance testing tools, and automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of agile software development, DevOps tools, and ticket tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Proven experience in managing QA for cloud platforms and enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Background in life sciences or healthcare software is a plus.
- Preferred familiarity with Beghou platforms: Mainsail™, Meridian™, ARMADA™.
- Good to have Certifications: ISTQB, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent.
