Job Description

As a Software Technologist specializing in Cloud AWS, you will analyze, design, test, code, secure, debug, deploy, integrate, and maintain software enhancements and new software. You will develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure and solutions, ensuring CI/CD practices are followed. This role involves optimizing application performance, staying current with emerging technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features. You will also implement security best practices, set up monitoring, and troubleshoot operational issues.
Must have:
  • Experience in C++, C# or Java application development
  • Experience in AWS related technologies
  • Good understanding of DevOps processes and tools
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in geographically dispersed teams
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, cloud-based infrastructure and solutions
  • Build and maintain cloud services with CI/CD practices
  • Develop automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Implement and enforce security best practices (ISMS/QMS compliance)
  • Setup monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and operational issues
  • Maintain clear documentation of cloud systems and procedures

Job Description

Analyses, designs, tests, codes, secures, debugs, modifies, deploys, integrates and maintains (system) software enhancements, test environment and/or new software. Uses state-of-the-art technologies and practices. Interacts with users / product owners to define / adjust requirements and/or necessary modifications. Keeps abreast of technical developments and practices in own field through literature, courses/trainings, technical contacts, and competitive environment. Applies agile software development methods as a member of agile teams.

Complexities of the job:

  • Develops software components based on requirements aligned with the product portfolio and based on customer requirements
  • Analyzes and optimizes application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience and system efficiency, ensuring the software meets performance benchmarks.
  • Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and user needs.
  • Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Your role:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure, product and solutions
  • Build and maintain cloud services, ensuring (CI/CD) practices are followed
  • Develop automated solutions using industry standard tools to manage infrastructure as code.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices with ISMS/QMS compliance
  • Setup monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure system health.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and operational issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation of cloud systems and procedures.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
