Software Test Automation Engineer

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will perform a wider range of testing tasks with greater autonomy. You will help design test cases, execute them, and report on their effectiveness. Responsibilities include designing and implementing automated test cases, executing and analyzing results, logging defects, collaborating with teams, maintaining test scripts, and assisting with CI/CD integration.

Skills:

• Intermediate Programming: Proficient in programming languages like Java or Python.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Knowledgeable in frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• CI/CD Integration: Understanding of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Performance Testing: Basic skills in conducting performance tests.
• Defect Management: Effective use of bug tracking and management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze and interpret test results.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in team settings.
