Software Test Engineer (Automation)

OVERVIEW

ISS STOXX is hiring! We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who will focus primarily on automation of existing software applications. He/she will also be requested to contribute to functional testing ensuring the highest quality of both internal and external applications in the ISS Governance Business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and understand existing software applications

• Collaborate with functional testing team and developers to develop automation test suite

• Develop comprehensive automation test framework and one where functional testing team can easily contribute and create test scripts for

• Develop test scripts to increase scope of test automation of supported applications

• As needed, perform functional testing - create test plans, test cases, test estimates and test execution of supported applications

• Raise and investigate defects, providing adequate supporting documentation

• Liaise with members of global teams involved in related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline

• With 2+ years of functional software testing experience

• With 2+ years of experience with the following test automation tools: Java, Selenium framework, Selenium Grid, GitLab, Jenkins

• Experience in interacting with databases

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Independent, detail-oriented and goal-oriented

• Fresh graduates with coding experience are welcome to apply

Work Location & Schedule:

• Amenable to work in Ayala North Exchange Makati and on a hybrid work set-up (3 days onsite per week – Monday to Wednesday)

• Amenable to working a dayshift schedule (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, PHT)
