The Account Executive is responsible for driving growth in volume and market share by acquiring and expanding relationships with PayPal’s large enterprise merchants across Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan (HKT). Through collaborative engagement, the role focuses on building long-term partnerships and delivering tailored solutions.
Must have:
  • Acquire, manage, and onboard large enterprise merchants
  • Promote PayPal’s cross-border payment capabilities
  • Develop and execute growth plans aligned with regional goals
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Lead business reviews and resolve partnership challenges
  • Share merchant insights to inform product strategy
  • Communicate product updates and support integration
  • Collaborate on marketing programs and sales collateral
  • Drive engagement through sales execution and negotiation
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing portfolios
  • Use specialized expertise to identify issues and recommend best practices
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and onboarding of new merchants
  • Maintain regular contact with merchants to ensure customer satisfaction and quota attainment
  • Lead functional projects and programs, contributing to business or process improvements
Good to have:
  • 5 years’ experience in solution sales and business development at enterprise level, with a proven track record of success
  • Familiarity with the online payment industry and cross-border trade is a plus

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Use specialized expertise to identify issues and recommend best practices.
  • Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with large enterprise commercial merchants.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and onboarding of new merchants.
  • Maintain regular contact with merchants to ensure customer satisfaction and quota attainment.
  • Lead functional projects and programs, contributing to business or process improvements.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5 years’ experience in solution sales and business development at enterprise level, with a proven track record of success
  • Familiarity with the online payment industry and cross-border trade is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese
  • Independent, proactive, and resilient; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work effectively across virtual teams
  • Excellent presentation skills in both English and Chinese, adaptable to diverse audiences
  • Willing and able to travel extensively to support business growth and regional engagement
