Key Responsibilities:
- Project Analysis and Design:
- Analyze project specifications and requirements specific to the oil and gas sector, focusing on layout and 3D modeling of Incinerator packages.
- Design and detail mechanical components, including equipment, piping, support structures, and pipe racks.
- Drafting and Detailing:
- Prepare various types of technical drawings, such as parts, assemblies, and products, including sectional profiles and multiple views.
- Generate detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation drawings, fabrication drawings, and piping isometrics.
- 3D Modeling:
- Utilize CADWORKS or equivalent software to create both 2D and 3D models of mechanical systems and structures.
- Collaborate closely with the lead engineer to ensure designs meet the project’s specifications and requirements.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Attend model/design review meetings with global offices, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Address and resolve comments and issues related to models and drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
- Work closely with the design team and coordinate with other designers to generate quality outputs within project timelines.
- Quality Control and Standards Compliance:
- Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant codes, industry standards, and dimensional specifications.
- Maintain a high level of quality control and attention to detail in all design deliverables.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the engineering and design management teams.
Qualifications
- 10-15 yrs experience, ITI Diploma Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or Designer, with significant exposure to the oil and gas sector.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (preferably CADWORKS or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, piping, support structures, and pipe racks.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, dimensional standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other design professionals.

- Expertise in 2D and 3D design, drafting, and modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex specifications and requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
